- Highland Dancing Competitions with a variety of traditional Scottish dances
- The famous caber toss - must be seen to be believed!
- Heavyweight throwing events featuring women's and junior's competitions
- Exciting rack events, including the 90m Scottish Sprint, 1000m Scottish Cycle
- An array of food and drink stalls selling Scottish delicacies and souvenirs
What does the day look like?
The Perth Highland Games runs from 9am until… well… it’s finished. This is usually after 5pm when we have a massed pipe band performance. Certain events run all day such as the Highland Dancing, the Heavyweight competitions and the Track and Field events. And of course, this year we have a LOT of pipe bands to get through so the air will be filled with the sound of the pipes all day long.
Unfortunately, we can’t tell you when the caber will be tossed due not knowing how many competitors will be taking part until the day.
