Highland Games:

Scottish Highland Games Association  (SHGA) is the official sports governing body of Traditional Highland Games in Scotland. It represents over 60 Highland Games in Scotland with several associate members overseas.

Perthshire Highland Games Association   (PHGA) was formed in 2003 to support and assist the organisation and promotion of Highland Games in Perthshire and the surrounding areas.  Fourteen Highland Games covering the length and breadth of Perthshire are now members.

Our Partners:

Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association   (RSPBA) is the recognised Centre of Excellence for the promotion and development of Pipe Band Music internationally.  Its services include education and training; setting standards of Pipe Band competition; organising the World, Scottish, British, UK and European Pipe Band Championships and the World Solo Drumming Championships amongst others. It liaises closely with affiliated Pipe Band Associations world wide.

Competing Pipers Association   (CPA) exists to represent the world’s competitive solo piping community in Scotland. It aims to promote and encourage solo piping whilst fostering a spirit of comradeship among members.

Scottish Official Board of Highland Dancing  (SOBHD)  is the world governing body of Highland Dancing. The main function of the SOBHD is to bring about co-operation between recognised associations, organisations, individuals and dancers connected with Highland Dancing.
