The clash of steel and the sound of battle will return to the North Inch this August as the Medieval Knights make their eagerly anticipated return to Perth Highland Games.
A firm favourite with visitors, the knights bring a taste of medieval life to the Games, with armoured combat demonstrations taking place throughout the day.
Spectators will have the chance to see fully armoured fighters go head-to-head, showcasing the skill, strength and discipline required to compete in historical combat. The displays provide a fascinating insight into medieval warfare while offering plenty of action and entertainment for modern audiences.

The Medieval Knights have become one of the most popular attractions at Perth Highland Games, drawing crowds of all ages and adding another dimension to a day already packed with traditional Scottish sport and culture.
A spokesperson for Perth Highland Games said: “The Medieval Knights always attract a lot of attention. They’re exciting to watch and offer something a little different alongside the traditional Highland Games events. Families especially enjoy being able to get close to the action and learn more about medieval combat and armour.”
The knights will join a packed programme featuring heavyweight competitions, Highland dancing, athletics, cycling, pipe bands, the Ardblair Stones Challenge, trade stands and family entertainment.
Perth Highland Games takes place on Sunday 9 August 2026 on the North Inch, Perth.
